  • Tato-I Hydroelectric Project: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved ₹1,750 crores for the Tato-I HEP in Arunachal Pradesh’s Shi Yomi District. With a capacity of 186 MW, the project will generate 802 million units annually and is slated for completion in 50 months.

  • AUKUS Security Partnership: A trilateral alliance between the USA, UK, and Australia aimed at countering China's aggression in the Indo-Pacific. China's ambassador to New Zealand warned of strained relations if NZ joins the partnership.

  • Bar-Tailed Godwit: Known for its incredible migratory endurance, this bird species is globally distributed. Recently, five bar-tailed godwits were spotted at Pulicat Lake, a rare sighting in India.

  • Rengma Naga Festival: The Rengma Naga tribe celebrated the Ngada festival-cum-Mini Hornbill Festival at Tseminyu RSA Ground, Nagaland. This Tibeto-Burman ethnic group inhabits Nagaland and Assam.

  • Siberian Demoiselle Crane's Record Migration: Sukpak, a Siberian Demoiselle crane, made history by covering 3,676 km to reach Rajasthan, India, marking the longest recorded migratory flight for the species.
