Key Highlights:

1. World AIDS Day 2024:

   • Celebrated annually on 1 December since 1988.
   • Theme: “Collective Action: Sustain and Accelerate HIV Progress.”

2. Exercise Agni Warrior 2024 (XAW-2024):

   • 13th edition of the joint military exercise between India and Singapore.
   • Held in Maharashtra, focusing on mutual understanding and jointness as a multinational force under the UN Charter.

3. Right to Public Services (RTPS) - Assam:

   • Assam CM inaugurated the Assam State Commission for the Right to Public Services.
   • Citizens now have a right to timely delivery of 441 public services via the RTPS portal under a World Bank-financed project.

4. Global Wage Report (2024-25):

   • Released by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
   • Highlights wage inequality: The lowest 10% earn 0.5% of the global wage bill, while the highest 10% earn 38%.

5. ADB-GOI Horticulture Agreement:
