• National Knowledge Sharing Workshop (Bhopal):
  The two-day National Knowledge Sharing Workshop begins on 30th September 2024 in Bhopal. Organized as part of the STARS Project (Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States), the event is a collaboration between the Ministry of School Education and the World Bank. It aims to enhance education systems across India by sharing successful teaching and learning strategies among states.

• Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav 2024 (Hyderabad):
  The second edition of the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav is scheduled to take place in October 2024 at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad. Hosted by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), the festival celebrates India’s rich cultural heritage, particularly focusing on the artistic and craft traditions of the North Eastern states. The event has been endorsed by the President of India.

• Cadaver Donation (Body Donation):
  Cadaver donation refers to donating one’s body for medical research and educational purposes. Recently, CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury donated his body to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following his death on 12th September 2024, promoting awareness about the importance of body donation.

• Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY):
  The government has approved Ayushman Bharat health insurance benefits for all senior citizens aged 70 and above, regardless of their socioeconomic status. This expansion of the AB PM-JAY initiative aims to provide wider health coverage to vulnerable populations.

• India Elected to GloBE Network Steering Committee:
  India has been elected to the 15-member steering committee of the GloBE Network, a global alliance aimed at tackling corruption and financial crimes. • Swachh Bharat Mission - Urban 2.0:

• National Centre of Excellence (NCoE) for AVGC-XR in Mumbai:
  The Union Cabinet has approved the establishment of a National Centre of Excellence for AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality) in Mumbai. • Star System T Coronae Borealis – Upcoming Celestial Event:
  A two-star system located 3,000 light-years from Earth, T Coronae Borealis, also known as the Blaze Star, is set to explode in the coming days, offering a rare celestial event. Though not visible from Earth, North Americans are expected to witness the event through telescopes.
